The Buffalo Bills announced Wednesday that they’ve claimed DL Albert Havili off of waivers from the Chargers and waived DT Marquavius Lewis with an injury designation.
Should Lewis clear waivers tomorrow, he would revert to the Bills’ injured serve list.
Havili, 23, wound up signing on with the chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Eastern Washington back in May. He was unfortunately placed on waivers Tuesday after a few months in Los Angeles.
During his four-year college career at Eastern Washington, Havili recorded 199 tackles, 18/5 tackles for a loss, two forced fumbles, eight pass defenses, a blocked kick and 12 sacks over the course of 53 games.
