Barrett, 26, was an undrafted player out of Colorado State in 2014 who found his way into some playing time during the Broncos 2015 Super Bowl run. He has amassed 14 sacks in a reserve role in four seasons since and has graded out as a very reliable run stopper.
He wants to go somewhere that will have a starting edge rushing position open and the Bengals do have just that. The Broncos would likely take him back cheaply, but with Von Miller and Bradley Chubb locking down the starting jobs it is doubtful Barrett will consider a return.

It sounds like things may have started off slow for Barrett, but is now beginning to heat up as teams move into the second phase of free agent signings.
